Founder, Dharma Chakkara Trust
Greetings.
I am delighted to express my sincere thanks to the esteemed parents, lovable students and dedicated staff for your individual efforts in bringing upward maintaining our school Vivek Vidya Mandir at a different height.
The consistent meticulous hard work of the promoters and beneficiaries of the school are vital for the growth and its progress. It is pertinent to look for and define everyone’s rights and responsibilities in imparting the knowledge to our children through our school and from society.
In ancient times, father, mother and guru were equated to God for their selfless service in imparting wisdom to the seekers and others who lived among them. As you are aware that most of the children are placed in a comfortable economic/ career zone through the education we impart with the might of the teachers, care of the parents and the environment. Comparing the past and the present, we excel in every sphere of activity even to live in other planets. In the same way, we drifted away from our path of maintaining an equalitarianism society with humane values like caring, sympathy and empathy towards our fellow men. At this juncture let us unite and put our efforts in building a harmonious society. This is possible should we play a role to impart knowledge along with right education to our children. In this respect, the role of the society shall be much easier if parents and school work together since they form the society.
We ensure to instill the right knowledge through the framework of schooling, travelling at par with global schools. Meanwhile our teachers have committed to teach the discipline, personality cult and humanity along with the education stream.
We expect every child should imbibe the value statement of our School for their life, which will definitely bring up themselves and the society to a new elated society. With the grace of God and motivation of my father, the first school of Dharma Chakkara (Trust) was established on 23rd May 1990 at the foothills of Ponmalai Velayuthaswamy Temple, Kinathukadavu with 13 children. The school is named as Vivek Vidyalaya and has been developed year by year. It was started with the aim of educating rural children with reasonable cost. The school has produced many graduates in various disciplines since its inception. It is then felt to start a CBSE school at the same premises to provide education to middle income group at a reasonable expenditure. Vivek Vidya Mandir was established in the year 2011 with the aim of providing a quest for knowledge and to acquire good values for the life.
